2007-09-28 | Rocky Smashmore | Jr Pac Man and Galaga 3 are the only classic games left. They've converted most of the arcade to redemption games, new stuff and kids party areas. |
2002-08-04 | crowbar | This location is in big time need of an update, so here goes... I was just there last night (8/3/02), and while I was there, I wrote down a pretty comprehensive list.
First of all, Bagman, DK3, Gyruss, and Xevious are no longer there. But here is what I did see: An Ultracade machine (with lots of games, including Anteater, 1941, 1942, 1943, and many more), Ms. Pac-Man, another Ms. Pac-Man with different mazes, Jr. Pac-Man, Dig Dug, 1942 (in a dig dug cabinet), Centipede (x2), Millipede, Galaga, Galaga 3, Columns, Tetris, Klax, Golden Axe, Caveman Ninja, Out Zone, Arkanoid 2, Namco Classic Coll. Vol.2 (with new versions of Rally-X, Dig Dug and Pac-Man), Vs. Excitebike/Vs. Super Mario Bros. and a couple of others that I wasn't sure about, like Snow Bros. (is this a classic?), and Buster Bros. (looked like a game called Pang, also may not be considered a classic).
Unfortunately, some of the machines are still a bit beat up, but still a fairly good place to go to find some classics.

2002-05-22 | crowbar | In my high school days (late 80's), we used to hang out here on the weekends also. It became known as "Scamelot". I recently (a few months ago) checked it out and they still had a couple of the classics hidden way in the back. Unfortunately, at least when I was there, the classics were in big time need of some TLC. Bezel scratches, cigarette burns, horrible controls, and warping screens. It probably won't be long before they just phase those machines out, since many of them are unplayable anyway. It's too bad they weren't better taken care of. |
2002-01-03 | OC native | Not only is Camelot wonderful, but it has the greatest game on earth: Super Dodgeball. I kid you not, I once spent twenty dollers worth of quarters playing with my dad, just on that machine! A great place to go and play. |
2001-01-14 | Another 80's Fan | This was the place to be for the Grad night party.(Class of 90-La Mirada High). It was an ALL NIGHT PARTY! One of the best times before I left CA! |
2000-10-04 | 80's Fan | This was my all time favorite weekend hangout when I was in high school (Class of 1990). During the late 80's and early 90's, weekend nights brought masses of people here with their lowered trucks, etc. It was like every Friday and Saturday there was a car show. Lots of fun until, of course, some idiots got stupid. Vandalizing the neighboring businesses, etc. Anaheim Police came in and started cracking down on everything and everyone. I saw them one night searching EVERYONE'S car (can we say "illegal search"?). Now it is a ghost town during the weekends. All it takes is a few idiots to ruin the fun. |
