2008-06-07 | Richard M. | Yesterday I spoke to someone at Cyber Quest. The Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine has been gone for six months. He did say that there is such a machine "on the other side" (Kids Quest no doubt) but you have to be 12 or under to play. What's left in Cyber Quest are the newer machines but nothing of interest to the classic gamer. |
2008-05-16 | Richard M. | Did not see the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga combo the last time I was there, which was this past weekend. |
2007-04-16 | Richard M. | No changes in the games themselves. Still the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga combo. Haven't seen the DK/DKjr machine in a couple of years now. The Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine now takes a card that you swipe, instead of tokens. The machine still essentially costs 50 cents. |
2005-03-19 | Richard M. | Visited CyberQuest last night. Colors on Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga were messed up. Did not see the DK/DK Jr/Mario Bros. machine that I mentioned in my last post; not sure if game is off floor for repairs or it just wasn't making money for them. I'll keep you posted. |
2005-03-09 | Richard M. | On my last visit there I saw a machine to the right of Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga which combines Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Brothers. Another Namco remake of classic titles from the past. I played a couple DK and DKjr games and played them as ineptly as ever, but the gameplay was reminiscent of the classic titles as far as I could tell. |
