2000-06-24 | Joseph S. | This is actually a decent place to go in East Atlanta. It is primarily a pool hall, but has a few other things as well: places to sit and talk, live music (part of the time). I first started going there in 1996, when "Twains" was opened by a brother/sister team who moved from up north (Boston area I think). Their family had been running a pool hall up there, and they decided to open something similar here. There are lots of tables (maybe 45 or 50), split into a smoking/non smoking section. There is also a decent kitchen and bar. Nothing fancy, but a comfortable place that I like to go with friends. The building was once the Decatur fire station, which moved to another building years ago. |
