2012-03-22 | RetroGamr | This place is now closed. I was looking forward to visiting this location this weekend when I heard about it, but alas its closed. |
2009-01-20 | Rob - The Classic Arcade Hunter | I was driving to Indianapolis to get a Donkey Kong Jr. cocktail ... and decided to go by Retros ... I stayed there five hours playing DK, DK jr, Burgertime, Q-bert, Joust, Defender, Robotron 2084, Star Wars, Track and Field, Tron, and many others. Some machines were off like Spy Hunter and Astroids ... I a good time there. Plenty of new games too. But so far I have enjoyed 1984 Arcade in Springfield, Mo the best. |
2008-11-14 | Jeff Bennett | I drove here all the way from Huntsville, AL with four of my friends. We each picked a few games to concentrate on and spent most of the day on those machines. I spent about four hours on Asteroids Deluxe, and two hours on Missile Command. The selection of games is fantastic. Too many to list here, and they're still getting more! A few are in need of repair, but there are so many machines here that it's not a problem. This is a great value at $6 for the whole day. A nice Pub-Restaurant is just a couple of blocks away, along with The Roxy Theatre and the Beachaven Winery. |
2008-04-17 | Jason Shoulders | This place is awesome. They had most of the games I wanted to play: Joust, Kung-fu Master, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and a Multicade cabinet with 48 games plus much, much more.
The price is actually $6 to play everything.
Anyway, if you're in the area, check it out. It's $6 for free play on all the machines, plus they serve pizza, nachos, and hot dogs. There's also a duel XBOX set-up to play titles of today. It's located on University Avenue within walking distance of Austin Peay State University. |
